About Ambajogai:
Ambajogai city is located in the Beed district, Marathwada region, Maharashtra India. In this city there are so many best places to visit. It was before known as Mominabad and was renamed as Ambajogai because of goddess Ambabai-Yogeshwari whose heritage temple is here. The legacy spot in Ambajogai are such as Mukundraj and Dasopant Swami Samadhi, Bara khambi, Kholeshwar Mandir, Ranukai, Hattikhana or jogai mandap, Buttenath, Nagnatth.
1. Yogeshwari Mata Mandir:
Yogeshwari is Bhushan of Ambanagri, which is Sanskrit name, whose meaning is goddess Durga. Yogeshwari is one of shakti peeth. Yogeshwari Mata is kuldevi of Konkanastha Chitpavan Brahmins and Karhada Brahmins.
2. Mukundraj and Dasopant Swami Samadhi:
Sant Mukundraj, who is the first Marathi poet. Dasopant Swami is also stayed here. It is 4-5 km away from Ambabai temple.

3. 12 Khambi Mandir, Kholeshwar Mandir & Ranukai :
This is old Hindu shiv mandir. There are 12 stone poles are arranged beautifully so the name given as 12 Khambi temple.
Kholeshwar temple is historical importance and it was built by Rani Lakshmi. It is lord Shiva temple. At the entrance of this temple there is detailed information (who built it and when)is written on stone.

4. Shivleni caves or Hattakhana or Jogai Mandap:
Shivleni cave is 1/2 km away from the Yogeshwari temple. It is also known as Hattakhana or Jogai Mandap. It is a heritage point where lord shiv, Nandi, and Elephant are caved in stone, so the name given as hattakhana. It is square in shape
